Jean Paul Gaultier - 1992 - Trunk Bag With Hotel Sticker Print
This Jean Paul Gaultier trunk is from 1992/93 and was presented on the official campaign both years! (see pictures) Accessories from these years has became one of the rarest to find has the items are almost 25 years old now. The same pattern was also used on the men's runway as well.
This trunk was made to be practical so it is made of lighter material then a hardcore trunk like LV often too heavy to travel with. This is light enough for a city bag or a week-end trip. It closes with two metal clasp and has a JPG dog tag attached to the handle. The tags are green with a rust like effect, this was inspired from the roofs of the the Paris Opera House “Opera Garnier”, Jean Paul Gaultier talked about it on an interview. (Dancer on the roof by Julien Benhamou)
The inside has a pocket and 4 straps to fix your items safely during travel. The outside represent the famous stickers hotels used to put in luggages in the early 1900s. Shows little wear, as show on the pictures, it is in great shape!
