This vintage Stephen Sprouse scarf is from the 1984, the earliest collections. He created a graffiti for each planet using blown up NASA like pictures. Here is the Moon.
He will later collaborate with NASA in 1999. The fabric is made of silk like jersey and the print is screened. The details and quality were never left to chanced with Sprouse, he likes using expensive fabric and processes to not change his visions. This made his clothing timeless and they are still looked after 20 plus years later.
